General Information

Here are some things to keep in mind for your photo shoot.

  1. Friends – A friend or two can make it even more fun and you can have a few buddy shots if you want.
  2. Formal and informal outfits – This will allow you to have a choice of clothes that will make you and your grandparents happy.
  3. Items of interest – If you play an instrument, ski, snowboard, ride a motorcycle, play a sport… include these items in your photo shoot.
  4. Sport related items – If you play sports, ask to get your jersey or bring your varsity jacket or trophies.  These are things that you will want to look back upon one day.
  5. Glasses – If you wear glasses, see if you can get a pair of frames without the lenses.  This will allow for photos to be taken without a glare from the lenses.
  6. Pets – If you have a favorite pet, don’t be afraid to include them in some of your portraits.  Pets have a special place in our hearts and this will be a great way to remember them.
  7. Outdoor locations – Think of some areas that are special to you, maybe some spots near your home or camp.  If you are lacking in ideas, we have multiple locations we can suggest.
